๊In a WWE YouTube digital exclusive, CM Punk spoke with Peter Rosenberg and Jackie Redmond.
🧜During the exchange, Rosenberg was praising Koko B. Ware and his "moveset."
෴Punk cut him off, telling Rosenberg not to say "moveset."
𝓰Speaking on his , Peter played the clip and gave his perspective on the exchange.
"Then I said, 'the moveset,' did you hear the first words out of his mouth? 'Don't say moveset.' Moveset is like insider dumb lingo. It just came out of my mouth because it's in there. I wouldn't normally say it, but like, Punk is A, a dick. I say that lovingly. He's A, a dick. B, it is an annoying thing that I said. C, apparently, I've learned, there is some history with him and someone else and that word, that I don't even know about," said Rosenberg.
📖The clip continued to play where Punk said, "It's garbage. If you say that, you're an idiot. Especially if you're a wrestler, and you say 'moveset,' That 100% tells me you don't know what the hell you're doing."
Rosenberg, on his show, said, "There, he's talking about, I don't know that he's dissing someone else. In this moment, he is specifically dissing a wrestler. I'm thinking it's at me. 'Come on Punk, I thought we were cool.'"
Neither Punk nor Rosenberg mentioned whoಞ Punk was referring to. Punk has been against the term since at least April 2021 when he tweeted, "Normalize getting rid of the term “move set""
ဣIn the same WWE digital exchange, Rosenberg incorrectly says Koko B. Ware is not in the WWE Hall of Fame. Koko makes an appearance, correcting Rosenberg and reminding everyone that he was inducted in 2009.
💙On his show, Rosenberg owned up to his mistake, saying he forgot, but Koko took it in stride and they had fun with it. Rosenberg also said that since the segment was pre-taped, he was asked if he wanted to scrap it. He said it was still good content and should air.
